a flowmaster knockoff at 1/3 of the price? heck yes! sounds great on my sbc 350. no droning, not too loud, just enough throaty rumble to make it sound like my truck has a v8.

Depending on how you set it up , pipe length and diameter this can be very loud or very quiet. Quality unit.

Definitely worth the money, comparing it to other mufflers on other rigs the sound is nice and deep without sounding like a trumpet. Gives a nice tone from 650rpm-3000rpm accelerating but cruise control at 65mph around 2500rpm there’s no drone at all compared to the noise of tires, wind, other cars, etc. If you want something that makes your car a lot of fun to drive with a little bit of money this is for you. If you want your rig to be loud just straight pipe it.

I love putting these on Jeeps. They sound SOOOOO good. I have installed them on Jeep 4.0s, 5.2s and 4.7s. I have not one been disappointed. I like these as they are basically a knockoff of the Flowmaster 44 series. They are not that loud, but loud enough so people know what you are packing under the hood. The are strong as ever, and take quite a bit of abuse. I would not hesitate to buy them again. Also, they are David Freiburger (Roadkill) approved!

Quality seems fine, makes a deep tone. It is fairly noisy so I wouldn’t buy for a car that commutes in traffic a lot. Most of the noise it a mild drone at about 1,800 rpms, but as long as you don’t cruise at the engine speed you shouldn’t be too bothered. At 65-75 mph it’s only slightly louder than stock. Experience with a Toyota 4Runner, 3.4L V6.

Quick shipping from Amazon. Now about the muffler... I replaced a Magnaflow with this Thrush Welded on a Jeep TJ with 4.0L. THIS is the sound I was looking for. Nice deep rumble, not too loud, not too quiet, just perfect!

Just got a chance to install the 2 of them today on my Street Rod. They are loud. Previously had Turbo Mufflers on for years. They were still good but looking shabby so I decided to go with a Welded Muffler this time being the Turbo Mufflers have seams just like a regular muffler has. Saw these after looking at the Flowmaster 40 Series. Did a little research and read what some other purchasers had to say. Most said the Thrush Welded Mufflers are made just like the Flowmasters so I purchased 2 of these instead. As I already said they are very loud but I haven't added tailpipes as of yet because I need to have a set specially made for my car being no one sells tailpipes already made for my home built Street Rod. Hopefully it will cut down on the sound a little sending it out the back instead of under the middle of the car as it is right now. Have no idea how long they will last but to me they do look well made and one can't complain about the price. Add on: Finally added Tail Pipes to my car connected to these Mufflers and it has quieted the sound down substantially. I can now listen to my CD/Radio again without a problem. Still sounds nice going down the road. Much better then the Turbo Mufflers they replaced.
