The buffet tends to have a wider-than-usual metal thumbrest so many rubber devices like this do not fit it. This one does, and is very helpful to my poor thumb!

This is the best thumb rest cushion I've had! I use this on my bass clarinet and now want the same for my other instruments. It is very thick, sturdy, and fits extremely well! I absolutely recommend it!

it has a rough texture that makes it easier to hold the clarinet. It also has more levels if you can't adjust your thumbrest on the clarinet.

I'm new to clarinet and holding the instrument was brutal on my thumb. This little thumb rest has been a welcome relief. There isn't much to say. It works really really well. Don't hesitate, just buy it; you'll be glad you did.
