I've used these things for over 25 years. I do a lot of ankle work and I feel this kind of tool is necessary.My first one was made at home from pipe and bicycle handle bar grips. Worked fine as long as I used shoes. But most of my training these days is done barefoot so this new unit was one heck of an upgrade. Should have done this a long time ago. I use it daily and it makes the work so much better.

This is an impressive device for the price, really outstanding in build and quality. It's solid, and the double clip design makes it feel safe, however much weight you put on it. It fits both 1" and 2" weights, mine slid on perfectly. This added a great way to get more use out of the weights and train the legs. The thick padding makes using this very comfortable, and there's a bag to hold the accessories, and even the machine barely if you break it down fully.

This Tib bar does indeed work with both 1" and 2" plates. It comes with 2 sized bars that hold the plates and you just swap out the correct bar that matches the plates you plan to use. It even comes with a big bag to store the extra parts and this tib bar in it (disassembled though).
