I have had about half a dozen tib trainers over the years, ranging in price from around $30 to $140, from no-name to the "tib bar pro" to the rogue TF-1, which I still have today. We even had a "DARD" at the Y I lifted at many years ago. Of all of them, none had a top crossbar positioned as far forward as this one is. I'm kind of torn as to whether this is a negative or not. You definitely feel less resistance at the upper 1/3 of the movement, but I think in a lot of cases that might not be bad, especially for recovery from shin splints, etc. Using different leverages compared to the tried and true layout is interesting, sort of like cables vs free-weights. I'll admit to having somewhat of a bias against this trainer, solely based on it being different, but I recognize that's not entirely fair. It definitely works just fine to "work" your tibs and is built as well as the others in this price range. If half stars were an option I'd go with 3.5 stars, but I have to choose whole numbers - 3 stars based on my personal bias would be unfair, so I'm rounding up.

This thing is really well made. Worth the money. Would definitely buy it again. No complaints after 3 months of regular use.

really like this tib bar. has helped me already after a few days. I like that I can use it at home with 1" plates and take it to the gym and swap the plate holder to use 2" olympic plates. Highly recommend.

The Tib bar is made for smaller feet. It’s difficult to get your feet in between the rollers, I had to take the bottom rollers off to position my feet and I could get somewhat of a better grasp to work my Tibs with only light weights.
