It's also a great value compared to Name Brands

I've been through a great # of strings to use with shaped poly mains, this is where I wound up for a cross string. Depending on how hard you hit, you'll want to try various guages, and the make everything from 16g to 19g.

Read a bunch of reviews for this and most said that this is an excellent string for crosses in a hybrid setup. They're right. It's a slick string so the mains are very free to slide against it providing excellent snap back. It seems a little bit stiffer than something like Luxilon ALU Power so string it loose for good feel. I have it as a cross at 46 lbs with Luxilon Natural Gut at 48 lbs in an Angell K7 Red racquet and it plays very plush with spin on demand as needed.

Racquet shown strung with Mayami Tour Hex in mains with ghost wire crosses. The smoother crosses enable the mains to slide slightly with topspin shots, producing more spin, and the softer ghost wire is easier on your arm and wrist. This string is firmer, not as soft as Solinco TourBite Soft, for a livelier feel.

I have used this as the cross string in 16 gauge for some time now, in 16x19 racquets. Tried this 17g in a couple of 18x20 pattern frames, with pretty much the same results. It's a slick, soft poly that holds tension well and the pricing pretty good. I'll keep buying it as long as that remains the case.

Quite good! Better than average snapback but I don't think it's among the best.Pretty good feel and control. I just mostly bought it for control and snapback, which it definitely has but I think it's a step below the best in snapback category but it is priced well.Going to stack it up against volkl cycling and hyper g again but I'm quite certain hyper g has better longevity with snapback.

I've only ever used it as a cross string with either Cyclone Tour, Tier 1 Fire Wire, and Nat Gut (both Luxilon and Wilson varieties), but it is one of the absolute best cross strings I've ever tried. It's a very slick round poly, with great tension maintenance, and very soft. This helps with snap back of the mains, and softens the poly's I use them with. When I use it with Nat Gut, I'm able to string it up in the high 50s (usually 57 or 58) to better match the tension I use for the gut (60-62 depending whether it's summer or winter). With poly, I typically use lower tensions (50 is currently my go to in the summer for both the mains and the Ghost Wire crosses).

I received a free sample of firewire boost from tier one. I was hoping for the firewire boost hybrid. Oh well. So I bought a ghost wire in 17G to hybrid with FW 17. Man, what a great combo! Great spin (grip & snap back). Control was pretty good as well in my clash 100 tour (which is not that great for control). Great feel for a full poly set up. Not harsh at all, just a little firm-not mushy. What put it over the top for me was that the playability lasted much longer than any other full poly set ups I've used. I'd recommend 52x50 at most. Ghost wire felt stiff at 54# in the crosses. 4.0 decently hard hitter.
