First I wanna start by saying these gloves ROCK!! They don’t loosen up on your hand over time and they take heat very well for tig gloves. Secondly I wanna say the customer service is absolutely IMMACULATE!! There was a delivery issue with my package that was totally the fault of USPS. It said my package was delivered when it wasnt. So I contacted defiant metal about it and they were awesome. They told me they had NO PROBLEM sending me my package again so they did, but 2 days later my original order came in the mail. I had told them my order came but it was incorrect. So to fix this not only did they send me the correct gloves but they also told me to keep the ones that were incorrect. Great products great people 🤘🏻

Stupid pricy but was curious.They feel good but time will tell on longevity once their turn comes to work. I like the feel better than the Tillman gloves,but not sure I like them better than the Watson’s I usually use. I typically wear a large and this large fits slightly tighter than the others but wouldn’t go bigger if I were to buy again.

So this is the second pair of gloves I've purchased from Defiant and overall, they're a nice glove and will take a fair amount of abuse.While the leather quality is good, I did have problems with the threading coming undone and the fingers opening up. But, to be honest, I do tend to weld close to the puddle, probably a bit too close and maybe the heat was just too much. Even though they're split open, I kept them and continue to use for other purposes within the shop.I would recommend these gloves, for the price they're a good deal.I wear an XL and while the fingers are a tiny bit short for me, standing 6ft 7in tall, I'm probably the exception and not the rule for all things fitting well.

the defiant metal gloves are great for tig welding where you need a lot of dexterity in order to get into difficult places. i like them better than the hobart tig gloves and the local farm and home's brand

These gloves are great! Comfortable thin enough that you can feel what you are doing but thick enough to protect your paws. Very well built so they hold up. I’ll definitely buy again and if you have a welder you know they make a great gift

these are great gloves, they move freely - no stiffer than a cloth glove you might buy a menards. these hold back heat much better than a normal glove - i would not use them for stick or holding very hot items but for tig and even plasma cutting they work great. they will stop slag from inverted stick, just wont stop you from burning your fingers if you get right in the arc or grab a very hot chunk of steel.

These gloves have held up very well. The fit and comfort are very good. They are snug as they should be and fit as expected. They are holding up well and are on track to last a long time - providing a very good value for the cost. The gloves are a thin to provide the dexterity needed for TIG welding but they are substantial enough to allow a quick adjustment of hot metal.

This review is for the unlined tig gloves, they seem to combine the reviews. Nice, soft but thick enough for most fabrication work. The stitching can give out in places, I suggest having a sewing kit with Kevlar thread for that. I work in these ten hour days they are really nice and hold up well with great dexterity. The black is great for working with metal since they will only get more black lol. Really the best gloves I've found for fab shop work. Also, if you don't want to destroy them it is advisable not to grab hot metal! UV leather protectant such as that sold by chemical guys will also help a lot for longevity.

Bought these for TIG Welding, I have big hand and the XL Gloves have always been too small. This fit perfectly great feel for TIG Welding. Used them by mistake in the garden for moving large Rock - super strong and Comfortable. So I bought Two more sets to use around the house as well as welding :-)
