I manage a tae kwon do school, and we have used Tiger Claw products for decades. These hand targets are the best in class for sure.Very durable, very satisfying "clack!" on a good kick. Can't recommend highly enough. They can be a little expensive, so you might try to wait for a sale. You won't be disappointed in these though.

My child takes hapkido and has been asking for kicker targets. These Tiger Claw ones are AMAZING, both for durability and for the clapper sound they make when struck. Such a satisfying sound! And these help motivate my child to practice.

This target is worth the extra money. You can get some very cheap ones that are good, but they won't have quite as much quality. I've been using this for taekwondo for about 1 month and it has held up very well. This target is being used by athletic young adults, so it definitely is being put to the test and is holding up very well. The clappers inside are nice and provide a resonating clap when the target is hit in or near the center. I think it's worth the slightly higher price, I don't anticipate it breaking anytime soon, but I will update in the unlikely event that it does.

We bought two,the first go around. Now these are more expensive than buying from the facility. They go for about $20-24 max. You can always ask if they could place an order for you. But I decide to head to Amazon and go on a hunt. I bought mine at $28 each and some change. Now the difference is they're larger, they make sound, and are longer. They're completely worth the price in my mind. The sound is a crisp pop sound. They're very durable and made of great quality! Absolutely love these and are the perfect training tool for any motivated soul climb the ranks.

My son is playing with this as we speak. The clapper inside is a really great feature that he really enjoys. It helps him gauge just how hard he has hit the target and he can clean up his kicks so that they are more effective. He studies taekwondo and is only a yellow belt because we have moved 3 times in 3 years. (He has had to start at white belt every time we move.) He is 6 years old and loves kicking and the movements in the arm strikes. Obviously, someone will need to hold the target for the person who is practicing. Right now my husband is holding it.The quality looks great and my son really loves it. Overall, he is motivated to practice and home and improves his kicking and striking forms in between his classes. (To give context to this review, neither my husband nor I have studied martial arts nor do we know much about it. You are never going to see some crazy youtube video of our son as a miniature prodigious martial artist. We are a normal family with a boy who has self-interest in taekwondo. We take him to classes 1-2 times per week and have picked up some idea of what he is supposed to work on by watching his classes.)

This is the exact same model that my child's TKD dojang uses, so that is why I purchased it. The clapper sounds inside of the Target is an excellent confidence builder. As my child continues to kick the crap out of it, the clapper builds confidence as the kicks land on the Target.Well built piece of equipment that should be in a household that's serious about TKD or any other type of Martial Arts.

Fantastic and solid construction. I used shoddy generic red clapper targets when I took TKD and this is certainly a grade above those. It should be noted in the description that this particular clapper is LOUD AS HELL, especially if your hits are solid. The clappers I have used in the past were no where near this loud and didnt use the plastic 'noisemaker' this one has in its center. Though fantastically satisfying, can be rather problematic when you live in an apartment and have easily annoyed neighbors..

IT was inexpensive and it works OK. Stitching and construction seems to be solid. We have used a few times. It serves the intended purpose as a kicking target to hold for someone and makes a noise when hit. I would buy again.
