As others have mentioned, these spacerswork well at keeping tiles spaced correctly, but they are really difficult to remove. They are not tall enough. They tend to sink into the mortar. Then you have to find a way to dig them out.

amazon was the only place available where i could find this product. It was essential in putting in a backsplash made from octigonal tiles.

It works fine for thick tiles. But for thin tiles, it sticks out of the grout.

I bought for doing octagon tile but also work great at regular spacers. Leaves a nice leg to pull on.
