This cot is easy to utilize. It is very sturdy and holds heavy weights. I love the distance in height this cot is from the ground. This is very much a necessity for anyone who is a camper. This is very useful and resourceful. It is worth the price value.

Cot is easy to unfold and set up. When in the unfolded position, the cot felt comfortable and stable. The only negative is the weight of the cot. It seems a bit heavy to lift and move around.

*Product Review: TIMBER RIDGE Extra Wide Heavy Duty Camping Cot for Adults**I recently had the chance to try out the *TIMBER RIDGE Extra Wide Heavy Duty Camping Cot for Adults*, and I wanted to share my first impressions, personal opinions, and overall thoughts on it. For context, I weigh 280 lbs, so my experience is informed from the perspective of someone who is closer to the higher weight capacity of the cot (450 lbs).### First Impressions: **Better than Sleeping on the Ground**Right off the bat, the benefit of this camping cot is clear—it's significantly better than sleeping on the ground. Whether you’re camping outdoors, hosting an impromptu guest, or just need a quick and portable sleeping solution, this cot feels like a notable upgrade from a sleeping bag or air mattress on uneven terrain. The extra-wide design is a standout feature, especially if you like a bit more wiggle room. The extended dimensions give it a spacious and accommodating feel, which is particularly great if you move around a lot while sleeping or simply value extra comfort.### Setup: **Straightforward and User-Friendly**One thing I appreciated was how easy it was to set up. You don't have to be a DIY expert to figure it out, and once it's assembled, it seems fairly sturdy and doesn’t wobble much. The carry bag is a thoughtful addition, making transportation and storage a breeze. This portability makes the cot ideal for camping, travel, or even emergencies.### Main Concern: **Stability for Heavier Individuals**While the cot is advertised as supporting up to 450 lbs, I have to admit that I didn't feel entirely secure lying on it at 280 lbs. Yes, it held my weight without any immediate issues like bending or creaking, but there was a level of unease that lingered. It’s hard to define whether this was purely mental or based on the actual perceived stability, but I personally didn’t get the confident, rock-solid feeling I was hoping for. This matters because, at 280 lbs, I’m well under the weight limit, so I would expect a sense of surplus capacity or 'lead way' as a cushion. The cot *looks* heavy-duty, and for the most part, it performs well, but I’d recommend anyone close to the upper weight limit proceed with caution. That said, for someone lighter, particularly under the 200–250 lbs range, I imagine it’ll feel much more stable.### Pros:1. **Spacious and Comfortable:** The extra width makes it feel less cramped compared to standard camping cots.2. **Easy to Set Up:** The straightforward design ensures you can get it assembled in minutes.3. **Portable and Lightweight:** The carry bag adds convenience for travel or storing.4. **Affordable:** The price point is quite reasonable for what it offers, making it accessible for a range of budgets.### Cons:1. **Stability Concerns for Heavier Users:** It may not inspire confidence if you’re closer to the advertised upper weight limit.2. **Subjective Sense of Security:** Even though it functionally supports weight well, the psychological feeling of safety could be improved with some design tweaks like reinforced joints or sturdier material.### Final Thoughts:Overall, the *TIMBER RIDGE Extra Wide Heavy Duty Camping Cot for Adults* is a solid budget-friendly option for those looking for a reliable portable sleeping solution. It excels in terms of portability, space, and price point. For lighter individuals, this cot will likely meet and exceed expectations. However, if you’re heavier or near the weight capacity (like myself), there’s a chance you might share my sentiment of not feeling entirely secure despite its functionality. At this price, though, it’s hard to complain too much, as it does serve its purpose well. If you’re on a budget and want a break from sleeping on the ground, this cot is worth considering—but with temperate expectations regarding stability if you’re on the heavier side.**Rating:** ★★★★☆ (4/5) – *Good value for the price, but could use some improvement in reassuring stability for heavier users.*

I liked that I can move around on it. I move around a lot in my sleep. what I don't like is that the cot itself is very thin and you can feel the frame under it. We are taking it on vacation for extra bedding. Over all we are very happy with it.

Edit:Just want to record to show 1 year strong of using it and still holding up like it was brand new!! This is great quality and as long as you keep it in it's case when not used, seems like will continue to hold the test of time!!This has been a great cot for portable use. SUPER easy set up and clean up. Sturdy build quality. I have used it about twice a week for about 2 months now due to trips and holding up greatly. More then long enough for my XL frame and length. Highly recommend if looking for sturdy cot that is easy to close and and carry.

We returned this. Way too bulky and heavy but I’m sure very durable. Just not what we were hoping for
