Don’t have to buy bobbins for a long time. Bobbins are expensive and I use plenty of them.I have a BabyLock and a Singer sewing machine.Some other machines take special bobbins.

After all the warnings about generic bobbins, I finally ordered these. I use them for my Janome and they work great. I also use them to wound thicker hand quilting thread onto so I don't have to carry around a bunch of spools of thread. I do write on the hand sewing bobbins 15 on one side of the bobbin and on the other side I write (H) for hand sewing thread, (B) for button thread or (UP) for upholstery thread etc. With a fine tip Sharpie marker. I keep the hand sewing filled bobbins all together in a separate container.

I got tired of hunting for bobbins and ordered these. Because of the large numbers, I'll probably give some to my buddies, since so many of us use the same bobbin size. I've used them long enough now to know that they work well in my machine.

Have tried a large variety of Class 15 bobbins in my Singer Quantum Stylist 9985 - none of them were the right size. It was an eye-opening experience to find that there are no standard dimensions for a plastic, Class 15 bobbin. Called Singer Customer Service to learn that their bobbins are generic and not manufactured by Singer. Those didn't work in my machine either. In desperation, I finally caved and bought some generic bobbins from my sewing machine dealer in a quantity of 10 which were very over-priced--but they did work. Just wasn't practical to pay so much for such a small quantity so I kept searching Amazon for a suitable bobbin.Finally had the good fortune to stumble upon these Timgle bobbins and they are wonderful! They are smooth, burr-free, great quality bobbins. Not a cracked one to be found among the 200! My machine purrs and absolutely loves them. I can now enjoy sewing rather than fretting over birds' nests caused by inferior bobbins. Buy them--you won't be sorry. I'm in bobbin Heaven!

I am very happy with my purchase. The quality of these bobbins are consistent with the bobbins I have been purchasing in my neighborhood retail stores for more money. These have saved me so much time and money. I never have to worry about unwinding a bobbin that still had thread on it to load a new color; I have so many for such a great price, I can always stay stocked up!

I used them to build a replacement for the regular "rope runner" and all worked well.Boy Scouts have the pinewood derby but Girl Scouts have "Rope Runners". They are a character mounted on a block of wood balanced on a wheel and steadied by two outrigger weights. The manufacturer went out of business. I designed a replacement that cost a fraction of the original. It used two bobbins and two pony beads. These were glued in place inside a heavily notched piece of wood. Instead of the big outrigger weights we had two identical wights that attached to the carriage, in turn, after being placed on the rope. The hanging weights gave the device stability by lowering the center of gravity. It was great and all went well.
