I read on my side in bed…..so, my book is propped at an angle without toppling over. Finding something to support my 8” x 5.5” tablet at portrait angle (not landscape) has been very difficult….Until now. Although I did cut the plastic thing that keeps a paper book open since I only ever use my tablet. It also works perfectly for supporting a tablet straight up in my lap when I am in my reading chair.

I ordered this so I could read books without holding them open as I get some joint pain and stiffness in my hands. The product design needs some work in the overall structure, since it is soft like a bean bag the ledge that holds the book doesn't retain its shape. If I'm laying down with this resting on my stomach it can very easily tip over, so I have to hold the bean bag in place and then readjust it every time I need to turn the page. It's very fussy to use for the purpose I needed it for, so in my opinion not worth it until someone comes out with a better design.

This was a great little helper for our youngest child who likes to watch movies on her tablet. She plops or right on her lap for comfortable viewing and makes her online homework a breeze. Hands free reading. I think this is a great value for the $$ and it's small enough to take with you wherever you go. It has a strap for easy carrying and it can be adjusted to fit your angle because of the bean bag feel. Feels very well put together ! Love this little invention!

This Tioncy book, tablet or phone holder (Amazon ASIN B0DLWTLP4M) was a bit disappointing, but I guess I had different expectations of what it would be which may be the root of my dismay. I was expecting a much heavier "bean bag" that stays in place by sheer weight. Bean bags stay in place due to two effects, the first of which is their sheer gravitational weight and the second of which is the ability to flow around to conform to the surroundings (partly due to weight settling). That's how bean bags work. But this Styrofoam (polystyrene) bag is different from a bean bag. It has no heft. It is as light as a feather. Certgainly it can conform to the surroundings, but you have to squish it into place to make it do that because it's so light it holds its form otherwise. As a result, instead of a "bean bag", what this is, is a Styrofoam bead bag which weighs almost nothing but which can be cajoled into forming around stuff (which will keep it in place).I weighed it at 142 grams (5 ounces) in toto, but if we remove the 26 grams (1 ounce) for the plastic adjustable pageholder ledge, it's only 116 grams (4 ounces) in heft. For me, I was hoping for a heavier bag, but maybe it's OK since I guess it's to be used in a bed. I was hoping to use it in more places (like on an airplane or in a vehicle or at a library, etc.) but it's mostly used in a bed, it seems. And that's OK.The pocket easily holds the width of a typical phablet in a case, but the length of the pocket means the phone will stick out at the top(perhaps for a power cord to be attached?). It's designed mostly for small stuff, such as glasses or earpieces or chargers, which it would easily fit. There is a nice loop at the top for easy hanging for storage.Certainly you can fit a typical tablet (see my 10th-generation iPad in the images attached) and a typical phablet - with or without the case, so that's good.Inside is said to be polystyrene beads which, when compacted is the same as Styrofoam that you're familiar with as a packing material. The exterior cloth is a soft velvety material, which is pleasant, if not all that durable. Certainly it's so light, as long as it fits in your backpack, you can take it anywhere. In summary, one descriptor that I'd completely remove from the Amazon description is the word 'beanbag' because that's one thing that it's not.
