I use these to keep line on the 3.5" filler spools of monofilament fishing line. They keep the line on the spool, are easy to get line off and, so far, haven't stretched out (lost their elasticity). They often get wet in rain, or river water (I wade). With the price. Wouldn't be without them.

If most definitely keeps my spools of leaders from ending up in a tangled mess in my bagUpdate: It works with fluorocarbon line, but not the monofilament line I use😟

I was hoping. Can't adjust for tightness around spoil, one size fits all? End piece stick out and to big for some spoil. Not exactly what I was hoping for to have my line secure around each spoil.
