I needed a remote fill for a small accumulator tank installed in an awkward location. The tire valve end was fine, I needed to 5/16 Male Flare Connector to 1/4 inch MPT adapter, then use a double 1/4 inch FPT adapter to get this to do what the description said it would do. I will update the review if the original item ordered leaks.

I bought these to replace a set of clip-on chucks that wouldn't reliably connect without leaking. But when I attached the first of these to one tire, it leaked! What? Try another one. It leaked! Huh?As it turned out, the inner (rectangular-faced) pin, which would depress the Schrader valve core when this chuck was screwed onto the valve, was loose in the housing. Every one of them was loose. So I had to disassemble each — not difficult — apply a tiny bit of thread locking fluid, then reassemble and allow the fluid to cure. They are working fine now, so be prepared to do the same with yours.

Excellent way to get around leaky quick connect but leaky heads that come with the pressure gauge.

These brass fittings work great.The rubber bushing in the threaded end could be just a little thicker so you can get a solid seal on the quick disconnect fitting (which is a NPT, therefore, tightening up on threads before securing to the rubber washer).I fixed this with a little pipe tape. When replacing a connector on the end of a nozzle this should not be a problem as they often of straight threads.Once setup, I tested it at 120 PSI, and no leaks. It screwed onto the Schrader valve easily and unscrewed, even under pressure, very easily.With the multi-pack, I will be using these on the ends of a couple of the Air Compressor Nozzles as well as having one attached to the quick-disconnect (mentioned above).What a deal for the $. These are very solid brass construction.

These screw onto valve stems. They fit good and work but the joints leak air. 3 out of the 5 I got leak air.
