Well made tool. It works well and makes perfect ISO/DIN bubble flares which is what most German cars use. I used this tool to make several flares to replace 4 sections of brake lines on my Mercedes R350 which had corrosion in some places. Easy to use and consistent in results.

This tool is great at making the ISO/DIN flares. It doesnt get much easier, insert the brake line, align the end using the positioning bolt, tighten the brake line down then screw in the die all the way and its done. The small container of grease is convenient to just dip the end of the die in before using it in the tool.I bought this tool to replace rusting brake lines in a Mercedes. I bought all the Mercedes brand nuts and spacers for the job and this tool makes the flares that match what is in the car and fits all the hardware.The first flare I made with this tool came out perfectly. The tool seems well made and it is easy to use.

Very easy to use and it creates a perfect bubble flare. I especially like the positioning bolt because it sets the depth perfectly every time and it's not fully threaded so it is very fast only taking 2 turns to put on and take off.
