Simply place the log against the plate and pump the operating handles to move the ram forward to make short work of tough green logs. With only a few pumps this powerful log splitter makes a difficult job easy. This portable, lightweight log splitter is designed to split some of the most difficult logs from Oak, Elm, Walnut, and Cherry to name a few.

This works really well. It's solid and heavy. It leaks a little hydraulic fluid though, and the pressure knob seems a little off, so I'm a little concerned it won't last. The knob is the only concern though. Everything else is rock solid. Just be mindful that there is both a maximum and minimum length of wood you can split.
