TJATSE 3-1/4" planer blades made of K10 fine grade tungsten carbide, It increased 50% harder than competitive carbide blades for longer cutting life and improved performance. tungsten carbide is an extremely stable substance, and does not oxidize at normal temperatures in air.
Ingenious Double Cutting Edges
Double edged and reversible for twice the cutting life. When 1 edge went dull, simply by turning the blade 180 degrees and re-installing it, you have a fresh sharp cutting edge. These aren't universal blades since they didn't fit my Harbor Freight planer. Seemed that they are the right size so could just be operator-error. Otherwise they seem like good quality and I don't want to downgrade them based on the application.

I figured 5 sets for the price of 1 Dewalt set then it was worth a shot. I was wrong! I went through all 5 sets in 1 month, they stay sharp, problem is the break in pieces and shoot sharp metal pieces out and can cut you if you’re not careful. I only use it to trim 3/4 melamine and the blades breaking cutting through it. I definitely would not recommend them

I ruined my planer. they fit fine and started to cut great then they just shattered inside the planer, while going over the knot in the middle of a nice piece of wood. they in turn made marks, due to their superior cutting ability, all over the drum and inside of the planer and subsequently destroyed the housing they were being held in. I knew it would have been stupid to buy carbide blades knowing how brittle they are from using a cnc, but two of these things exploded and I refuse to put another one in. so if you intend to have a mish mash of materials you want to plane, I'd advise against these. if you are just planing stryo foam they should work fantastic. not sure what I'm going to do about a new planer. hopefully it's just the batch I got but however they mixed their carbide didn't do it consistently or messed up the ratios pretty bad. I used that thing all the time and now it's sort of worthless.

very good value since a blade change on my Milwaukee handheld planer just uses 2 blades. very clean cuts, i use it for doors, i have done 30 doors on just a single blade set.
