These are functional as opposing players when I coach pickleball. They are easy to put together and they look like a person. They are a good target for my students to practice placing their shots at the feet, knees, waist and chest. I used them on a day with a very light breeze and they kept getting knocked over. I solved this problem by putting sandbags on the rubber bases. The bases do smell pretty horrible and after having these for about a month, the smell is still strong. One of the fittings that holds the wires in a circular shape has already cracked in half after a couple of uses. I’m not sure that these are durable enough for long term use and because of this these are not a good value for the money.

These dummies are well made and have pretty heavy foundations which makes them stable. They are tall enough for 12 year old. The price is good. There much more expensive dummies. The foundations smell terrible. I would give five stars if foundations wouldn't smell. Will see if smell goes away with time.
