I just started this and it’s going to be fun! I did enlarge the chart so that my old eyes can see it more easily. The colors are beautiful and the instructions are pretty good.

It's a beautiful kit, and I look forward to working it up. Everything needed was included, of course, just add your own hoop or frame and go. I love the 70's-esque design and color palette. The price was better than ordering elsewhere online.

Verified PurchaseVery poor quality pattern. Symbols are so faint and small and the back stitch lines are so heavy, it makes the pattern really difficult to follow. Be warned.I consider myself an experienced stitcher and it is going to be a challenge to complete this kit.

Loved the designs in this series by Tobin the moment I saw them. The price was right here on Amazon so I purchased three of the bird kits with words/phrases of inspiration. Loved how the charts, pre sorted threads and fabric were all done nicely and are quality products. However, the plastic balls referred to as "beads" leave a lot to be desired. Maybe it's just me, but I think they look crummy! I bought a package of black GLASS beads by Mill Hill at my local needlework shop and threw away the plastic things that were in my Tobin kits. Counted cross stitch takes time to complete and I just want my finished piece to be quality in all areas. Maybe it's just me?

I like this kit a lot. Kit includes everything you need (except a frame). Colors on the Amazon site (on my computer) are way off -- bird looks green, whereas it's more blue in reality. I like the colors of the actual product. I didn't have enough black floss to finish backstitching (the first time that has ever happened to me!), but I picked up a skein of black floss at Michael's for $0.37.
