These kits never disappoint. I have made for 10 grandchildren and then a few for adults too. The appliqué to a larger stocking because my husband thinks he is Santa.

The Design Works/Tobin stocking kit is a big disappointment. I don’t recommend buying it. I’ve made about 10 of the Bucilla brand stockings and have never had any issues with them. They have very detailed, easy instructions and the felt pieces are clearly marked for each and every piece. On the other hand, this brand (Tobin) does not mark the felt pieces. Instead they provide a sheet of paper with the pieces printed on it and blank felt pieces. You would have to cut out the paper pieces, pin them on the felt, cut out AND mark your felt pieces yourself. This brand is not worth the time and money spent on it when you can buy Bucilla for the same price with all your felt pieces already printed and marked. I will not buy from this company again and will be sending this one back.

I have made many stockings like this over the years and this was just awful to assemble & decorate. You get only some of the patterns printed on the felt and the rest (many of them super tiny) you have to trace onto paper and then cut out. The directions aren't great and the way it is assembled is unnecessarily tedious.I wouldn't buy this brand ever again.

I have made a lot of Bucilla stockings and the cutouts are all stamped on the felt. This brand of stocking gives you a paper cutout to pin to the fabric and the “greetings” is not stamped on the fabric. I started it 2 months ago, but got hung up on the embroidery, doing it freehand.

Turns out delightfully. Have done several , this one had a couple of odd pieces where the pattern had double print of same part but in different colors, and directions did not clarify . But with use of picture easy to figure it out.

Love the design of this - how funny is the idea of Santa on a little motorbike? I've done many felt stocking kits and this is the first Tobin one I've purchased. Haven't put it together yet so I'm not sure of what quality the felt or supplies are just yet, but I expect it to be fine from what I can see through the packaging.
