I'm really liking this pattern. I was able to figure it out however, it may be annoyingly difficult for other to figure out which color goes to which symbol as they are not labeled on the string card. I did run out of one color which has never happened to me before but I had the matching one in my stash so it was OK. But make sure you are frugal with the thread provided!

All of the different parts were there. I haven’t stitched it yet, but don’t foresee any problems. It would be nice if the pattern could be enlarged a little so it’s not so difficult to read.

I am an experienced cross stitcher. I purchased this for my godchild who was having her first baby. The floss arrived divided by color and was well marked. However, some of the color symbols are hard to tell apart, and even with a magnifying glass it was hard to differentiate the markings on the pattern. It has never taken me so long to work on a project. It’s breaking my heart but I finally realized there’s no way I can get this done before the little guy goes to kindergarten. So for the first time, I’m giving up on a cross stitch project.

The colors are beautiful and vibrant. There are a lot of colors, so you do have to keep changing color threads frequently, but the end result is going to be worth it. This is for an intermediate cross stitcher.

The pattern is really nice. The symbols are easy to read, and there's none of those stupid half-square stitches. BUT... the thread colors that come with the kit are horrible. Some of the suggested DMC color matches are fine, but the thread that comes with the kit does not match them well. I got part way through the bear before I realized that it looked goldish/pink, and I started over with my own embroidery thread color choices. I substituted the following:Theirs Mine (DMC) Theirs Mine (DMC)LT. purple 209 Pale Gold 677Purple 553 LT. Gold 676LT. Yellow 727 Gold 729LT. Pink 3716 DK. Gold 3829Pink 962 LT. Aqua 964DK. Green 912 Peach 352I also used 948 for the bear's mouth.I only did the bottom left bear, with the border around it and a child's birth announcement information to the right (inside the border). I moved the butterfly up so that the bear's eyes seemed to be looking at it.I framed it with purple, green, and pink layered mattes, and a warm brown wood frame.It turned out really nice. I wish I could post a photo of it, but I don't know how to do that.
