I used this bit to drill a bigger hole in my apartment’s door where the existing smaller rusted peephole was located. I installed the brand new 6mm peephole with no issues. The bit does cause a mess so make sure to vacuum after wise.

Alil disappointed with the drill bit. I used it to drill a peep hole for my solid wood front door. I made a pilot hole first. But I still feel it could have cut better. I had to drill back and forth from both sides, till I finally got thru. Taking short breaks in between. To allow the bit to cool before hitting it up again.

I used this to install two peepholes in steel doors (insulated centers). It worked perfectly for both, and was still razor sharp afterwards. It could probably install a dozen more, if I needed to.

I've only used it once, but it worked great. Used it on a door with metal exterior wood interior and it went right through.

Easy to work with when installing peephole into a metal door. Cut right through the door with little effort. Certainly what I needed since this was the first time I have ever done anything like this before. I did not want to damage the door trying to do trying to drill the hole. It solved the problem I was having finding the right size drill bit for installing my peephole and didn't damage my front door. Peephole works fine.

Made installation of the door viewer a breeze. Only took 15 min from start to finish for installation. Would recommend this drill bit if putting in a door viewer.

Did the job -- the bit is a rather aggressive shape so it kind of tore by fiberglass door up a little bit. Luckily the collar on my peephole was big enough to completely cover it.
