This belt appears to be well made. It has a fairly strong rubber odor out of the bag, presumably due to the underlying composition. The outer "skin" is some type of canvas-like material. It appears to be well adhered to the underlying rubber, but the proof of this things durability will be after it's been used for quite awhile (years.) I've had my mower since 2012 and have yet to require a belt replacement. So this one has a high bar to get over.

I had my last belt for 6 years, kind of worn and stretched. Had the deck off for cleaning and lubrication and decide to replace highly rated belt. This one seems stiffer but with enough flex, fit great, no issues. Will see how Kevlar makes a difference. Expecting at least 6 years of use.

It fits and drives my tractor blades. So far, I have had no problems with this belt.
