For the money I have no real complaints. The pistons were really nice and in spec. The top and second rings were also good to go. The oil rings were a little tight though and needed to be filed. I bought these to replace the ones that came in a wqsing Sportsman 800 rebuild kit which were way out of spec.

Installed correct. Along with new crankshaft, cam, lifters, pushrods, valves, springs, oil pump, water pump, all new seals and gaskets. Lubrication was propper. Ran great, then 3rd short trip out on a slight incline smooth gravel road not much load, blammo. PIston EXPLODED and seized up new rebuild, bent brand new crank connecting rods and damaged the valves and head. And destroyed the cylinder head. After comparison of surviving piston to the old take out, these were way thinner walls. Weaker manufacturing. I do not recommend, expensive lesson for me.
