The photo and description is accurate but it’s very slippery. I won’t be using because it feels like my fingers are just going to slip right off the rope.

I have recently begun shooting recurve. My fingers get chaffed sometimes from shooting. This finger tab would hopefully help protect my fingers from feeling worn. The leather is pliable and feels natural in texture. The two layers are of equal thickness. This is in contrast to my three finger version which has a thick cowhide layer and a thin, sueded layer against the hand. The elastic fits on the middle finger and has includes a small leather piece to keep the elastic from digging into the skin. Unfortunately it turns out this is too big for my small hands. This is definitely made for man hands. For reference the three finger version is a size small. If you have med to large hands this might work well.

Definitely better than using my bare hands. Also over time the material becomes more flexible and softer which is good. So basically you have to break it in for it to feel really comfortable. It fits comfortably in my hand and protects my fingers so I’d say it works well. It’s my first one but I’d say the quality is good. I don’t know about any other ones in order to give a comparison.

This is a quality product at an affordable price, especially for a casual beginner like me. I am left handed so I had to restring it but I haven’t had any issues with it thus far. Doesn’t interfere with aiming or adjustment and feels very secure in my opinion.

I use this with my 60# recurve and have yet to notice an issue with it's functionality. My son uses it for his 35# recurve as well and will hardly shoot without it. Very comfortable but makes removing arrows a little clunky without removing it. Several times I've misplaced it but as a testament to how well it functions, I will not shoot without it.
