This level of knife requires a higher level of know how to sharpen. If you don’t have the know how then you probably don’t need this knife. Keeps an edge well and is very robust for its size.

The seller delivered the knife in good time. But the knife is dull, feels like it has an edge but won't cut. I emailed TOPS and they said it because the knife requires a level of expertise they figure I don't have. After teaching and training in karate, escrima, silat, and kenjutsu for over a dozen years I pretty much know how to use a knife and when one is dull. It is machine ground and not quite to an edge. I willnever buy another knife from TOPS based on their attitude. I bought it because it was made in the USA. Tops doesn't issue refunds either. I waited to file this review until they responded.

the blade shape is amazing but the knife is not sharp and impossible to sharpen, talked to TOPS directly..this knife is a great idea in theory but needs improvement, this is a chisel blade-horrible idea-one sided and the new ones cant be used on Lansky or Spyderco sharpeners. it needs a redesigned blade edge, the micarta handle and case also great..its really to bad

This knife is perfect for anyone who practices close quarters combat and martial arts of any kind. This knife is thick carbon steel with a tanto style one sided grind that makes for a very strong tip and cutting edge. The sheath is great and mine came with the spring steel belt clip that is strong. It feels great in the hand and the ergonomic angle of the blade makes for a good striking grip that won't bend the wrist unnecessarily. All in all this is a great knife for close-in fighting and I highly recommend it. It is another great product from TOPS knives!

Beautiful design and craftmanship. Very sharp. Handle is a little slim, but lends to compact/low profile for your gear or waistband. Scabbard and belt clip are well designed and sturdy. Good retention.

Huge Top Knives fan and this design really caught my eye. Great quality blade as expected and the ergonomics of the scales are perfect for my wife hands. I love this blade and it’s one of my favorites to train with. I have almost 200 knives and Top Knives I am never disappointed!

I was looking for another field craft knife but one lighter that the big Tracker I also have. This little guy fit the bill nicely. Although not stainless steel it's very easy to keep clean, the blade coating protects all but the cutting edge. Size wise it's very light and compact. The kydex sheath works well and holds the knife securely. All in all a nice package and priced very well.
