These bike mounts seem like such a good idea and they're heavy duty! I love that they are minimal and should make the bike easy to get up and down, but installation was a nightmare for me. I installed these alone and that was my first mistake. I tired placing the wheel holders first by just measuring my bike and marking the wall, but the bike ended up being too high on the wall, so I lowered them. After that I marked the wall where the petal piece would go and got that up on the wall, but it didn't line up right with the petal and I felt so frustrated. I moved the petal thing on the wall but still couldn't line it up right. I expected this to be fairly easy set up, and I should have had someone help with lifting the bike and helping me to get things placed correctly. Now, to be honest, I'm not great with things like this, but I can usually figure things out given enough time, but after over an hour of trial and error, I finally gave up. I ended up putting the original bike rack back on the wall, patching a bunch of holes that I made, and now need to paint the wall, too :(

In the box:-3 sets of hangers. Each set has 3 pieces: 1 pedal hanger and 2 wheel hangers.-18 heavy duty screws with hex heads, 12 self-drilling drywall anchors (large and have threads like a screw) (missing 6 pieces?), and 18 ribbed drywall anchors (smaller cylinders). Each hanger requires 2 screws and 2 anchors = 6 screws and 6 anchors per set, x 3 sets = 18 total of each (my pic is missing 2 screws and two self-drilling anchors because I installed them already.)-Instruction sheet.Materials/construction:-Hangers: Out of the box, I was impressed with the heavy duty quality of these pieces. They feel thick and strong, with a black powdercoated finish (much stronger than regular paint). The pedal hangers have some kind of medium-soft protective wrap around the area that would touch the pedal and crank arm. This is a nice feature, however do I expect them to get worn from flat pedals that have sharp pins.-Screws and drywall anchors: The screws are heavy duty with heads that can be turned with a phillips screwdriver or 10mm socket. The self-drilling anchors work well with the screws. The ribbed anchors look standard, but they don’t seem to work with the heavy duty screws (see below).Mounting:-Instruction sheet: This is a very basic sheet that does not explain how to find wall studs (the Amazon description suggests using a wall stud for the pedal hanger, but this sheet does not), how to use different types of drywall anchors, how to use a drill bit for them, how to properly align the hangers, etc., so you may have a hard time and may even damage the anchors, or worse, if not installed correctly. I suggest learning about studs and drywall anchors beforehand, or have someone who has installed these kinds before help you.-The screws worked well with the self-drilling drywall anchors, however my package was missing 6 of these anchors (supposedly needed for one set of hangers). I used a 10mm socket and ratchet wrench to make it much easier and faster than a screwdriver.-The screws did not work with the ribbed drywall anchors. The screws seemed too big for them and the whole anchor would turn in the drywall. I believe these ribbed anchors need smaller screws. If you have standard drywall screws laying around, they may work.Misalignment: I installed the pedal hanger first, hung my bike on it, then marked where the wheel hangers should be under the wheels. When I was finished installing the wheel hangers, and put my bike on, I realized the wheel hangers were not aligned with the pedal hanger: they were shifted to the right about 2 to 2.5 inches. Instead of moving the two wheel hangers, I may just move the pedal hanger.TIP: I am not sure what the best installation procedure would be for the other sets. When I was test-fitting the bike on just the pedal hanger, the front and rear wheel would tip up and down and the crank arm may not have been perfectly vertical.Next time I may install the pedal hanger, put the bike on, mark where the front wheel hanger should be (centered perpendicular to the front axle), take the the bike down, install the front wheel hanger, put the bike back on, then mark where the rear hanger should be (centered perpendicular to the rear axle).Conclusion:-Installation is hard: This style of bike hanger is very dependent on the exact location of your hangers matching the geometry of your particular bike, so installation is not simple, in fact, I’m getting a headache, but maybe I’m just having a bad day (I have repaired cars, computers, and houses before.)-Great quality: the hangers themselves are very heavy duty and high quality so they’ll be fine for any pedal or ebike.-Missing anchors/wrong screws: My pack was missing 6 self-drilling wall anchors which I assume are needed for one set of hangers. I don’t know if this is by design (the sheet says nothing) or an accident. The screws seem too big for the ribbed anchors and smaller screws are not included. (Standard drywall screws may work.)With all this said, if you can manage to install it properly then it is great. The lack of clear instructions may give you a headache.

Great bike wall mount. Easy to install and can support a mountain bike. Great way to hold, store and display your bike at the same time, Came with the hardware you need to get it installed. It is sturdy once installed. Great buy for sure!

I love the concept of this wall hanger. I used to hang my bike up vertically, but didn't love how much "space" my bike took up in my office. Even mounting it high up on the wall, it was still very much in my way. But using this horizontal bike rack, I can reclaim all that floor space the vertical mount took up.The parts that stuck out the most were the handlebars and the seat. With the horizontal mount, you can get these points far closer to the ceiling. This design saves so much space and is great for those in smaller apartments. The mounts feel sturdy and don't feel like it will mar your bikes finish with the rubberized coating on the pedal hangar. Make sure the pedal mount is drilled into a wall stud. This is bearing the main weight of the bike. The tire mounts are mainly to keep the bike balanced while hanging off the pedals. I ended up using the included dry wall anchors for these and they still feel quite sturdy. The lag bolts feel really nice too, though I ended up installing them with a 10mm instead of a screwdriver to avoid stripping while drilling into the wall studs.I feel this is important to say. This is frustrating to install alone. It can be done, but if you can have one more person help you, it makes it so much easier to mark the wall, then the rest of the installation is a piece of cake.I'd recommend this to anyone looking to reclaim more room space.

I had always liked this minimal type of bike storage solution. This product was perfect for my needs, and the set of three was great. Installation was a little effort only to find the right spot with the main bracket into a wood frame. Mounted the bike, then placed the wheel seats.+ Holds various pedals well - we have multiple types of kids, mountain, and tri bikes+ Heavy gauge metal hardware+ Good deep screws+ Coating seems to be very durable- Initial placement a little tricky

My disclaimer....I didn't use this for a bike. Like others said, I can't imagine trying to mount these correctly for a bike with 1 person. But I'll tell you, they come in super handy for other uses in the garage. If you're wanting to get things off of the floor, think creatively and get these solid mounts.
