The step baffle reflects the light from the bulb, softening it and eliminating annoying glare, preventing dazzling and eye fatigue.
The attached sponge gasket grants effective thermal insulation, making it fireproof and safe to use.
The 21mm-width integrated metal ring covers the original installation trace and blocks the gap between the wall and housing.
Preferred by most contractors and electricians, this 6inch trim has an outstanding design and incredible quality.
This 6inch trim's white metal step baffle softens the light and won't yellow after many years of service. This trim easily installs thanks to the included mounting springs.
Designed for standard 6 inch recessed cans and ceiling light fixtures, this trim can be used with PAR30, PAR38, BR30, BR40, and other similar sized halogens, incandescent, and LED light bulbs. The integrated iron ring covers up mis-cut and over-sized holes, as well as unsightly and torn drywall caused by the removal of existing trim.

Used to replace 8 original recessed cans that looked like 25 year old nicotine stains lol!Very easy to install and adjust after pulling old ones. These really provide a much better pattern of light than the original builder cans and the new LED lights in Daylight color range are a huge improvement! Very economical even compared to the big box stores.Recommend for a quick and easy upgrade to brighten up your home! Would buy again and recommend seller.

What an inexpensive update to the canned lights that had very dated 8 inch brass trim. After searching extensively for a trim that would work, this was the only choice I found. Easy to install.

The product is well-made. It looks much better than the commonly used 2-piece trim with a flat plastic ring. However, the product description misstated the outer diameter as 7.67inch. The actual outer diameter of the product is 7.375inch, not 7.67inch.

Looks good, no instructions (not hard, but some instructions would have been useful as I have never installed these before, so tips how to get the springs in place would be good.)
