The step baffle reflects the light from the bulb, softening it and eliminating annoying glare, preventing dazzling and eye fatigue.
The attached sponge gasket grants effective thermal insulation, making it fireproof and safe to use.
The 21mm-width integrated metal ring covers the original installation trace and blocks the gap between the wall and housing.
Preferred by most contractors and electricians, this 6inch trim has an outstanding design and incredible quality.
This 6inch trim's white metal step baffle softens the light and won't yellow after many years of service, unlike other plastic trim. This trim easily installs thanks to the included mounting springs.
Designed for standard 6 inch recessed cans and ceiling light fixtures, this trim can be used with PAR30, PAR38, BR30, BR40, and other similar sized halogens, incandescent, and LED light bulbs. The integrated iron ring covers up mis-cut and over-sized holes, as well as unsightly and torn drywall caused by the removal of existing trim.

Super nice and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that a lot of bulbs are not long enough to be used with these. We are replacing our old white plastic ones, and they have a wider hole.

These worked well for our purposes, but know that they are more of a chrome finish than a brushed nickel. It did not match the rest of my finishes because of how shiny they were. We used a Rust-Oleum satin finishing spray on them though and that completely solved the problem. If you're willing to add a DIY touch to these to correct the shine, they're worth it.One other con: The edges are sharp, so be careful when installing!

went with the nickel satin look in the bathroom and got these to see if they would make a different and it worked, these have smaller openings where the bulb fits and does look like a set of eyes

These are great and the color looks more black which is exactly what I was looking for. Install was done within seconds on each light fixture so I couldn’t be happier. Good value for the product as well. I had been searching and saw many that were more expensive.

Easy enough to install. Suggest using needle nose pliers to stretch the spring, the inside edges are very sharp and can cut you. Used them in our kitchen remodel and love them.
