Last summer had major branch damaged to a 50ft hickey tree at about 35 ft.Using a professional would have been wise but costly.I have a toro snowblower and I chainsaw but did feel safe getting closer this large branches.With the help of a rental cherry picker and the extend chain was able to take care of problem. SAVED the tree and lots of cash.Many other uses since.

I'm not sure why this unit gets such a low rating... none of the low ratings so far have any text to explain the issue. As for mine... It's been great so far! Battery lasts long. Just the right length. Really helps get the weight off of small to medium trees before taking a real saw to them. Only gripe I have is that the chain/bar oil comes out too fast and has to be refilled well before the battery is dead which is a bit silly. So other than there not being an oil adjustment, this has been a great tool.

Battery power is so easy. This is heavier than any gas powered saws I have used but it works really well. I have the 16” chain saw and the recycler mower. The battery life is great in this line.
