Still a little expensive, but I've been critical of total boat before - this is some of the best quality fiberglass resin I've ever purchased. Performs exactly as expected, under less than ideal temperature conditions, has a smooth blue color that changes slightly when you add hardener and goes nearly clear when it cures. Excellent product. Highly recommended (since everybody had gotten wildly expensive on resin, a few more dollars than the "other guys" to get this high quality product is worth it.)

Extremely slow shipping. Don't bother buying any total boat products if you live in Canada. West systems is readily available and is a much better alternative

Things started off not so well with this order, it was missing the MEKP catalyst when it arrived. Since it was a hazmat item Amazon did not except returns and there was no way replace the missing product and made me order some separately. Not a huge thing as its cheap but was disappointing to say the least. The second thing was that it appeared to be leaking on arrival, I assumed it was from rough shipping but the seal was still intact so I figured one next to it during storage had leaked on it and it was just residual, again no big deal. Things came up and I wasn't able to get to the project that I had purchased this for so it went into storage in a climate controlled basement, unopened for almost a year. When I finally got around to opening it, I found that it was extremely thin (thinner than water), and had a very strong alcohol smell to it. It didn't seem right to me but I was unfamiliar with laminating resin as I have only worked with finishing resin. I tested a small batch and it hardened up slightly but didn't seem right, plus about 80% of its volume had evaporated. This stuff was not going to work for my needs so I was needing to order something else. I was pretty sure that this jug was bought before and used and then refilled with acetone and sealed up and returned. But with being unfamiliar with this type of resin I emailed TotalBoat directly to get verification that this was not how it was designed to be before I ordered more and ended up with more of the same thing that wouldn't work for my needs. They ended up sending me a new gallon at no charge after I told them about what was going on. I never asked for or expected a replacement, they just offered it, even with it being a year old purchase and had absolutely no proof that I wasn't the one who diluted it and ruined it myself, or just making it all up to begin with.Anyway, long story short. My original product turned out to be diluted by approximately 80%, TotalBoat sent a replacement at no charge and this stuff was exactly what I was expecting. Great product and even better customer service by TotalBoat.PS - Amazon was zero help and offered no support even with the missing product on day one.
