the tools are just perfect for the job. the on/off button is too hard but I prefer that than the opposite. very good product and youtube has an excellent guide for a job well done

Worked great to replace a broken screen on my parent's iPad. Fairly simple repair if you're tech minded or can follow the many online tutorials or videos to show how to replace.Only thing that could use some improvement is the adhesive that holds the glass onto the iPad frame...only a thin strip around the frame and did not adhere very well in the corner where the cables connect the screen to the system board.

Todo quedó muy bien, excepto el pegamento no es muy resistente, hizo que se desprendiera el vidrio pero aun así funciona

Fairly difficult to install. If you are not comfortable working on tablet or cell phones I would not recommend attempting this. With that being said , the installation is pretty straight forward. Make sure you remove all of the old adhesive prior to installation of the new screen.The unit sent to us failed shortly after installation. The touch screen functions seem to be possessed.Other than not working it looks great and will transform your IPad into a fine paper weight.

The product is perfect ! But I’m not lol ...I ordered the wrong one. But am about to order the right one now from the same seller. It arrived quickly and everything that was inside was great quality. They even supplied a coupon for my next purchase which is a huge help considering my mess up. Will definitely leave another review when I have the right one installed.

This was my first attempt at replacing an iPad screen. I went into it with low expectations both for my abilities and the quality of a non apple screen. I have replace a few iPhone screens so I am not a total moron but close to it.The included instructions were not the greatest but like many others, I watched a few videos and looked online for tips. The hardest part was getting the old screen off because it was shattered but a little patience with the heat gun and it was off. I had a little difficulty by the WiFi antenna but lucky for me, I did not destroy it. Just be careful by it, it is just to the right of the home button.Once the new screen was on i nervously powered the iPad on and to my utter shock and amazement, it worked. Pretty much perfectly, I must say. The screen is not as sensitive or precise as the original but it's pretty close. In fact it is probably the best I have seen. I would give it about a 95% accuracy rating and if you have ever used an iPad with a cheap screen, you know what that is like. For the most part, it is about as good as the old screen was before it's demise.I would definitely buy another if my clumsiness persists.One small thing, I did get a speck of dust underneath and I noticed it about an hour later. Just for grins, I tried to pry the iPad apart and I was able to do so pretty easily. Maybe the adhesive needs a little time to really get stuck. I the case I have will surely hold it together. Maybe I didn't press it together hard enough, but my intent was not to break the new screen so it will be totally fine

Beware of other kits that are plastic not glass and get scratched and broken easy. This kit is actually glass and the tools are high quality making the install simple. It took me an hour start to finish and my iPad 4 works perfectly. The home button that came with the kit works which is something I saw other kits having problems with. Make sure you test everything BEFORE you glue it down. The cables are super-sensitive to being just a little out of place.

Purchased this screen to obviously replace my cracked screen on my iPad 4th generation. I had to replace it a few years ago, and had really liked the screen I had purchased then, unfortunately it wasn’t available anymore so I decided on this one. I was kind of bummed because the only option was black, and I had a white iPad, but this seemed like the best option, so oh well. I get my screen and immediately set to replacing it. Like I said, I’ve done it in the past, so it took my less than a half hour to do. One suggestion I have is to use a flat magnet to hold your screws while you’re working because they are small and can get lost easily. Also, find a YouTube video to help you out because the included instructions are pretty confusing. I replaced the screen without any issues, but upon turning it on, the home button wouldn’t work. I then ordered a replacement from amazon, which was quick and painless, but annoying because I had to leave that screen on until the new one arrived. In the meantime, I turned on assistive touch and gestures to make the iPad functional. Today the new one arrived, and I set to work replacing it again. The home button, though a little stiff, is working just fine, and I have a functional iPad again. It’s nice that the screen comes with the home button and bezel as the last one I had didn’t come with either. The reason for only 3 stars is because of the problems with the first, but also because the second screen seems ok but it’s not even close to OEM. It isn’t as smooth, not as bright, and the screen seems to not respond as well. Overall, it’s an acceptable, affordable option for now, and I’m hoping it will hold up over time. I will update the review in the future if needed.

Great product and easy to install, watch YouTube video first to make sure you know what to look out for.MAKE SURE you plug all the ribbons in fully, if you notice your screen isn’t responding to touch or is only responding in certain areas (i.e. top half of the screen) check to make sure you have plugged the ribbons in fully.Great product overall, feels and looks just like the original. Does seem to crack slightly easier than original screen but holds up to scratches well.

Venia de un cambio de otra que parecía idéntica de otro fabricante, pero que falló y que la pantalla no funcionaba. Esta me ha funcionado bien desde el primer momento y todo bien a la primera.Buena calidad y todo ha funcionado a la primera. O se ven los puntitos que se ven en otras pantallas parecidas.

Good fit for ipad4 but have to apply extra adhesive to stick properly. Got a week late but its ok if product is good.
