I took this high line into Yellowstone and my two horses broke it immediately and disappeared for six hours. If you need horses high lined in a contained area - already fenced and highly secure - then this product is for you. If you need a reliable high line, get something else. The rope is very flimsy.

For a compact high line kit this was good buy. Perfect for day or overnight use.Met a Ranger the first day out and he was happy to see the tree savers being used.

We used this set when camping with our horses. The rope was thin. It was easy to tie but a little weak for the horses. We substituted this out for thicker rope. Everything else was perfect.

Instructions say to "place first and and last tie at least 20ft. from trees"; this means you need 40 ft. of rope plus whatever distance you want the 2 horses from each other. The kit should include a minimum 60ft. length rope. You may be better off buying components separately. Otherwise all items look good; I'll try it out this weekend and update.4/16 Update: contact manufacturer, JT International and they are sending out a 100ft. length. Best customer service I have experienced in many years. We set up the picket line to practice and all worked well.
