We have kids on our farm that range in ages from 9 to 18, and multiple others that hang around with different youth groups. All are in agreement that these bale string cutters are fantastic! Attach a cord, and hang them on the fence. No more buried scissors!! Highly recommended!

Don't dont Don't buy this. Had 3 break the first day. The metal cutting blade just pushes into the plastic that is supposed to hold it. Has to be the worst quality cutter ever!! I would rate it a zero if I could!!

We bought these for a christmas tree lot. Great price and looked safer than open blade knives.We ran in to a couple problems.The blade is not well secured within the plastic and if you hit anything besides twine some times it will break and slide back in to the handle. In addition because we were using on christmas trees, all of the small branches are difficult to miss so if you hit one sometimes it will get stuck in the little throat of the handle and break off the end of the plastic. Both of these problems can be easily avoided by paying attention to your cuts but with open knives you don't need to pay attention you just slide it down the tree and all of the twine gets cut quickly and easily.

Great for first few cuts, then the blade disappears inside the plastic casing. Got a pack of 6 and 5 were useless within the first 2 weeks.
