Nothing about them to not like. They are sharp and well made. Worth more than what they cost.

For a fraction of the normal cost of nippers they are pretty good they don't come very sharp but I was able to sharpen them with the Dremel and an attachment they work very well

I have no experience with professional quality nippers. I have been using low quality nippers for years to trim my horse's hooves because I simply could not justify the cost of professional nippers. However, I am getting older and it has been getting more difficult for me to get the job done. Therefore, I read various reviews of better quality nippers that I could afford, and thought the reviews of these stood out. I just received them in the mail and trimmed my horse's hooves today. I am VERY happy. They are hand-forged in Pakistan. Their construction is excellent, strong, tight, sharp, and nickle plated to prevent rusting. Their blades match perfectly out of the box without any need of dressing. They are well balanced and they trim the hooves wonderfully, requiring significantly less force than my old nippers. I used to put this job off, which was not good for the horse. Now I am going to look forward to the task. These have excellent value and are well worth the cost.Update:After a year of using these nippers, my appreciation for them only becomes greater with each use. Each time I trim the hooves I literally find it a joy to pick up the nippers and sail through this part of the job. Now if I only I could find a knife that would cut through the sun-hardened sole more easliy! ☺

Overall, it's an okay pair of nippers. They aren't very sharp out of the package and it feels like there's a little bend in the handles but as long as you're not taking off tons of wall they work. You pay for what you get; more expensive trimming tools are better quality, end of story.

Purchased these to trim our pet kune kune pigs hooves. They are really sharp and do a great job. Fairly easy for me to use, as sometimes I'm needing to do it one handed. They are heavy and durable. I would recommend these hoof trimmers.

I’m not sure how these compare to a $200+ professional pair, but I didn’t want to spend that considering this is my first time trimming and I only have my one horse to trim. May I also mention that I’m almost 9 months pregnant and am taking over trimming because my horses feet have looked awful under the care of my last farrier. I had zero issue trimming off my horses overly thick wall with these. They were sharp enough to work quickly and the action was smooth, with just the right amount of leverage.I am very glad I saved some money and bought these. Perfect for maintenance on a few horses.

Needing a new pair of nippers but not having the money at the time to get the (way) more expensive brand I usually use in my farrier business (20 yrs), I found these from Tough-1. Skeptical, but willing to take a look at them, I went ahead and ordered them. I liked the workmanship of their construction although they did need sharpening before I used them (they sharpened well). The nipping surface has help a sharp edge well so far and they are "breaking in" very well. I would recommend them to cost-conscious farriers or those just getting started.
