So far these hobbles work great. We use this pair for my wife's mare. A notorious escape artist. She has figured out the hobble life and is a traveler. These hobbles have withstood her cruising around without fail or causing a single sore

These self adjusting horse hobbles solved the issue of our horse acting like she has ants in her pants when tied up on trail rides. No more pawing at the ground and acting sassy and scaring the other horses. They worked great but I’m pretty sure Betsy is plotting to come back as a human so she can get the chance to put me in hobbles.

I would give zero stars. The first time I put these hobbles on my horse, the leather ripped apart at one of the metal buckles. For the price, you would think they would last more than 2 minutes on a horse. Very disappointed in this product. Hopefully they will give me my money back.

Hobbles work great. Have only used a couple times. I'm working on softening them up, they are still a little stiff. They are made strong, so that's important. A great price.

I wasn't thrilled when I got these hobbles. there are rivets on one section of the hobble, and the " smooth" side of the rivets rub up against the horses skin. The stitching is also cheap, and not sturdy enough for hobbling a horse for the first time. I hobbled my mule ( first time ever hobbled) with these or 30 minutes, and he did the expected rearing and hopping around, and in that time it ripped the stitching on the hobbles, and the rivets tore the s*** out of my mules leg. I think these would be ideal for horses that don't move a lot when hobbled ( walking around while grazing, trying to paw, etc.) and until I find a way to cover up the rivets to protect my mules skin, I wont be using these again anytime soon.

These work great. I had a real aggressive mare that was literally eating the hide off my show mare. Every day there'd be more missing hair! So I decided to hobble that witch to slow her down and instead of having her in hobbles every day - I sold her. Thank god she's gone.
