I got this for winter camping trips to Crown Land. I often get stuck or plowed in so often find myself having to pull out the old trusty manual winch to pull me out.Pros:1. 20 ft so you get a good distance between vehicles2. I got this for my SUV, but it would work for a large truck overkill for me3. Wide so will wrap around a tree if needed4. Coils very well and easy to storeCons: None, this is exactly what it saysLooks good, the stitching on mine is well done, the hooks are well made and the strap is impressive to say the least. If you need a huge tow strap look no further!

This appears to be strong enough to survive almost any tow or recovery (from the ditch or lake) event you might want to use it for. The description says two ply, it is very well stitched and secured where the main belt, which I see as 3 layers, converts to the loop ends. The only weak spot I can see is that it goes down to one layer for the loop itself. The stitched 'joints' look like they go from 3 layers to two layers, and then those two layers, split to one to create the final cloth covered loop. I cannot test it's breaking strength and we were going to lift a 20,000 lb boat until someone pointed out that this is not a lifting strap, just a tow/recovery strap. I still think this one strap can replace any others you have and will always be strong enough for the recovery job you might have.

I recently got a Tacoma and while I had jumper cables and a roadside kit from my last car, there seemed to be a few things missing. I wanted to find a good tow cable that I could use for helping pull others out of trouble, or at the very least to have if I needed someone to help me out of trouble. Typically its recommended to buy straps rated for 3x your vehicle weight. I wanted to opt for something even more just in case I happened to be helping someone else with a larger vehicle than my own.I picked this specific brand of strap for the size of the loops. A lot of the ones I looked at had very tight loops necessitating the use of d-rings to hook them to anything. These loops are a great size and should allow me to hook them over any sort of tow point or loop them through frames.Its the kinda thing you never want to use, but if you need it, its invaluable. I threw it in the side of my back door, but its small enough to go under the drivers seat if need be.
