I was conflicted about purchasing these, since it seems like they work for some people but not for others, but they worked for me. I don't know how other people experience it, but I've always felt "colorblind" is a misnomer, because I can identify red and green separately, but if you lay them next to each other (like the circles in the test), I can't differentiate them. So when I put these on it wasn't some mind-blowing experience of seeing colors for the first time (I think the lenses actually make the world look pretty unnatural, i.e., even a white piece of paper has a pink hue to it). But they do allow me to differentiate between colors much more effectively. We've got a red jar with a slightly-different-shade-of-red lid which I thought was all one color, for example, and I can see more gradations of green on my plant leaves, which are more beautiful than I appreciated. As far as tests go, I've got an Ichihara poster with 11 panels. Without the glasses I can identify 4, with the glasses I can identify 9. I was also pretty amazed that when I wore them I tested as normal vision on Pilestone's site, whereas without them I test as strong protan. The aviators are goofy (especially with bright red lenses), and I'm skeptical about durability. The lenses are also relatively dark, so it's not comfortable to use them for too long with a computer monitor (which is unfortunate for obvious reasons). Overall I think they're a little gimmicky, but it's a cool experience for the price. I'll probably mainly use them for driving and coordinating outfits. Giving them 5 stars because they do the main thing I bought them to do.

My friend got these for her boyfriend. He can’t see red/green including shades. He needed a Lens D but she couldn’t catch one in time to get before stocking out. She literally just risked it and bought these. His eyes got wide and lit up when he put them on! His favorite colors to see was green, and pink! He hasn’t taken the glasses off, lmbo. I don’t think he will. It’s worth the money, buy it!
