Exactly like the oem part. Easy replacement when you finally get to it. Best to replace it when your door opens intermittently so you don't have to struggle go open the tailgate from inside the car.

If you are looking at this part, then you are dealing with the same issue as many others in not being able to open the rear hatch on your Land Rover. This part is relatively inexpensive and it works perfectly. The replacement is fairly easy and there a bunch of videos on the video website that will walk you through the process.

My 2012 LR4 won’t not open the rear top half tailgate. I watched a few youtube videos on how to access the actuator and install this product. It is good quality. Great price in comparison. Dealership is a few $$$. We will see on how long it goes for but even if it’s for a year or two it’s 1/10 of the price for land rover to add and install.
