I see I'm not the only one that ordered this product clearly thinking it was a case for the trusdx radio along with the battery holder.. low & behold it's only that !! A battery holder.. 😂 way to much for what I'm looking at here.. I wouldn't pay no more than $12 MAX .. if I knew this was what I would receive.... Y'all should definitely change your title for your products.. but good job , ya got me along with many others!! Lol shame on me

The description is deceiving, it looks like it accepts AAA batteries, in reality it uses 3 larger ( EXPENSIVE ) rechargeable batteries not listed in the add.

When I read the title "tr uSDX Transceiver usdx Battery Case Kits by DL2MAN" I thought this was the transciever case. It was the only case with a similar title, and in fact the actual case is nowhere to be found on Amazon.So, when I opened it, I was surprised and disappointed, mostly with myself for not studying the images more clearly. A better title would be "Battery case kit (only) for (tr) usdx transceiver."It was packaged very well. The workmanship is good and the design is clever, but it should be priced at $8-12.Again, I want to reiterate that this is my fault for ordering, but a clearer description would really be helpful.Now, I hope that malahit will offer something to house the actual transceiver on Amazon.

The supplied plug is too short to make contact within the radio making it useless. Avoid this product unless you plan on replacing it with the OEM pigtail that ships with the radio.

This is nicely printed and slides together tightly, but not too tight. The battery holder uses mechanical (crimped) contacts to the wires, to which I added some solder "just in case". It's a perfect match for the transceiver. I have no hesitation in recommending it.
