Whisk Blooming & Care
For a full traditional experience and greater enjoyment, rinse the bamboo tines by dipping them in a bowl of warm water before each use. This helps to soften the bamboo tines, making the chasen flexible and springy for effective whisking.

Easy To Care
To clean, carefully rinse under running water. If needed, use your fingers to gently remove remaining Matcha. Do not let the bamboo sit in water and do not use a dishwasher or dish soap. The best way to store the whisk is on a Kusenaoshi (whisk holder) to help keep its shape. If you don’t have a holder, keep it resting upwards or store in the included container.

Unless you like splinters in your tea, do not buy this whisk! Upon opening the package, I noticed that the bamboo was had several splinters on the prongs. I bloomed the whisk, and I noticed that there were even more splinters. There were even chunks of big splinters. Even if you were to pluck off some of the splinters, there were so many that it’s virtually impossible and it made me wary to use it to drink the tea. I’ve bought from this brand before, but I am very disappointed in the quality. I will never buy from this brand again as the quality has gone down the drain!

Not the greatest quality, design and function works fine. But I bought this for our co-working space it got probably 4-5 uses a day. The prongs started falling out in few days. Had to throw away.

Please with this purchase. Lightweight , real bamboo. Follow enclosed directions and it will be a great whisk for many matcha lattes!

It is a standard matcha whisk. It produces a good amount of froth when mixing. The only thing is that it needs a holder to maintain its shape. After using twice the bristles have closed in together but it works the same .

It is pretty easy to use with matcha powder. I never get any clumps left in the bottom which I really enjoy. I’m not sure if it’s mold growing inside or? Weirdest part is that it doesn’t even feel like a real chasen. So I’m not sure how it’s growing mold.
