It works. Used for game cameras.

This mount for a game camera is a pretty good idea, the only issue I had was it was very hard to start to get it into a tree/post. One almost heads to have a drill to start it, and once it's started, it will bury itself into the what one is screwing into. Once put into a tree/post, it won't fall off, and it's a good option if you need to put it at an angle or other position. I would suggest if one is going to leave their camera in the outdoors, put some sort of locktite on the threads for the camera end, the threads will corrode if left exposed, and its dissimilar metals brass/steel. Overall, a great idea, and a covert way of getting ones camera out and about, especially in areas that it may get stolen if found.

These worked perfectly for my cellular Spypoint cameras. No problem screwing into softwood trees. Drilled a small pilot hole in hardwood tree. Might be too small for larger cameras.

Works as described. The screw in part is a little large so hard to screw into a tree by hand.

These are solidly built. The steel is hardened and makes screwing into white oak and hickory easy.Removal from tree's is easier than installation.Lean into it slightly while turning.Camera mount (I use Muddy) is solid and does not wobble. Very SturdyI would recommend.
