I can just barely get the twine taught but then can't move the slide. I'm wondering if they gave me too much twine.After getting nowhere trying to find an answer as to how long the twine is supposed to be I found a slip of paper that said it should be 25 inches.It had maybe an extra inch. Now It's awkward but I can kinda barely use it.

This thing is pretty cool for estimating distance based on a 6 foot object. Super simple and pretty darn accurate. I am using this in the plumbing field and not hunting.

I bought this for novelty because I'm a gadget guy. Took it out and it did a good job for what it's for. I'm sure it's good enough for when you need it.
