My vehicle was stuck in 4x4 Low, I disconnected the battery and then replaced the module. When I reconnected the battery the vehicle allowed me to take the 4x4 Low out of gear. I am very happy with the result.

On my Grand Cherokee (WK2), the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) was being disabled (C2227-00) from an Antilock Braking System (ABS) module error code. The ABS module was getting implausible data (U0403-00) from the DriveTrain Control Module (DTCM). After looking at the live data, the DTCM was reporting a fixed 15v for the battery compared to the other modules reporting 14.2v-14.4v based on load. That 15v reference was most likely a substitute value as that portion of the module had failed. The DTCM has multiple part revisions from Mopar and is considered a known problem part in OEM form. It also controls the transfer case clutch pack which is used for traction control (with ABS) and torque management (front to rear torque transfer) for the all wheel drive system. The ACC system looks at all foundation systems and will disable if any foundation system have errors reported. After installing and clearing error codes, the vehicle returned to the designed state and drove normally.

I started to notice a clicking noise on my 2015 rt 137000 miles. I will start with changing the TCCM and go from there. I have no lights or errors on the dash, just noticed this clicking sound as I select gears on the dial. Amazon Prime overnight delivery, after installing, and driving a 250 mile trip, I have not heard the sound since!!! UPDATE. 10.28 Still going strong, no issues to report. I did buy a OBD2 Scanner, and it did report that there was a ground fault from the TCCM. after clearing all DTCs, no other issues have been reported!

I was having problems with my 4wd and traction control light stayed on, on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Took my Jeep to an auto parts store for a scan. Code U0102-00 popped up (lost communication with transfer case control module). So I contacted the local dealership letting them know what was going on. They told me $125 for a diagnostics test, $533 for the module itself and a couple more hundred for labor. I did research and found the module here on Amazon for about $90. Part came the next day. Took me 10 minutes to replace part. Now my Jeep’s 4wd working properly and my traction control light is now off. I can now put my Jeep in ANY terrain drive mode. I’M A SATISFIED CUSTOMER‼️

Bought it for my 2014 Jeep grand Cherokee, installed it and there’s no life in it, it was not communicated with the computer. Don’t waste your money or time on this Chinese poorly made defective product.
