I thoroughly cleaned the surface with acetone and let it dry for a day before applying. After applying, I let it dry for 72 hours before letting water near it. It got yellow grew mold after 1 year.

This is a very good product. I did not use this particular tube because it was the wrong color, I returned it for the correct color and it worked very well. I would recommend this product.
