This does not work for 700r4, the end is too small for the tube hole in the transmission, not even close to to the stock size, leaks just sitting there

This dipstick is junk. The problem is that the dipstick is a stiff wire, NOT a flexible cable as is the case on more expensive units. My application is a TH400 in a 1938 Plymouth, and the dipstick housing must bend. The dipstick itself does NOT bend enough to slide into the housing. Save your money; buy the $60 item.

So this dipstick tube 8s to short, to skinny and just overall does not work at all. It took me forever to even get it assembled! Most people never figured out to assemble it, (read other reviews) I figured it out but it is to small (diameter) to ever fill your transmission. And it is to short to work.

I just put this dipstick in my S10 Blazer and I can’t get the dipstick to fit in the tube properly It’s a fight to get to sit right

I used this dipstick for a demolition derby car application. I had to put hole in floor board for the tube to run through so the stick would fully seat into the tube. The last 3 inches of the stick would not pass through the small orfice they give for the stick to enter the fluid area of the pan the way I had the "flexible" tube mounted.

Was a little short for my application but only length offered. However it is a good product measuring stick had to be bent straight was probably from shipping.
