After doing some tests, I discovered that this filter is indeed thinner than the mesh filter that is OEM for the Nissan CVT transmissions. According to mechanics on forums and engineers, the Nissan CVTs are very finicky about both the fluid and the filter that is used, they have very specific Viscosities, hydraulic pressures and chemical barrier properties in mind for the belt... this transmission filter is likely to allow excessive fragments and CVT fluid through, causing a drop in pressure and slippage issues among others. Stick to OEM do not even think about using this.

The info said it fit my 3.5L with CVT, this is not for the 3.5L, this is for the 2.5L. Didn't bother sending it back, I just gave it to a friend with a 2.5. Still a good deal for the price, brand new.

This item is as described. I end up not using gasket cos the old one was like new. Both filters fitted in correctly on my 2008 Nissan Altima 2.5s

Filters fit, gasket doesn't. As you see in pix old one and the one I received. Original one has 19 holes, one received has 18.Be aware of this as if your original is dry or cracked..etc, you'll have to buy another one that actually fits. Disappointing!

both filters fit as good as oem but gasket had different bolt pattern to my transmission, was not made aware that there are two options , description just said will fit my altima, so had the inconvenience of getting a lift to nissan dealer to get correct part as car was disassembled , will check first next time!

The gasket does not fit a 2014 AWD NISMO Juke. Can’t confirm the pick-up. The cartridge filter however works. Somebody should update the compatibility search engine and the seller should update their specifications.

PURCHASED FOR MY 2016 NISSAN ROGUE. DESCRIPTION SAYS IT IS FOR MY VEHICLE, BUT THE GASKET IS DIFFERENT. SELLER BASICALLY SAYS SORRY CAN'T DO ANYTHING FOR ME.
