This transom saver is well-built. The tubuler cross-section makes it strong.The spring shock absorption feature is great, however you can configure this for no spring action if desired. The clips to hold the bungee hooks, and the bugee hooks being a foll loop rather than a J-hook, give added peace of mind that nothing is going to slip or fall out of place. Hold the motor in position very securely and is easy to install and remove. It's a bit heavy, but that's to be expected when it's built this solidly. I now tow with confidence that the motor will be held securely and my boat's transom will not be stressed.

This transom was perfect for my 6 HP outboard motor. I especially love the fact it came with the elastic cord to secure the motor to it.

This support bracket is built solid. Spring is pretty tough to absorb road bumps. The bungee cords are ok. Overall I’d say this leg support is very nice. Much better than the cheap square tube styles available.
