It is small and can be self contained. Great for the on go and game studying and just playing a game. It would be nice to extra queens, you know just in case.

Great little set for the price. Pieces stuck to the board without any issues while it was played with in the car. My kids loved playing with it. I say loved because they lost 2 pieces in our rental car when we were on vacation, but I can't fault the set for that.

Perfect for our flight.. except it was missing a pawn. I am so upset!! Worst part is, a new one won’t get here in time for our flight

The six inch magnetic travel chess set is exactly what I hoped it would be. Magnets are strong enough to keep the pieces from scattering easily. The size is perfect for air or car travel.

Size is perfect for a travel set. Son is an avid chess player, former state champ. He loves this set. It looks beautiful, the pieces are nice and solid enough, it is very sturdy, and the magnets are very strong. A ten ! It was his fav birthday gift even!

If you want a very small portable chess set, this set works as advertised. I think most of the pieces are well sculpted and easily identifiable with one exception. The rooks don't look like any rooks I've ever seen. At least on the sets I've got there is to me no apparent crenellation.
