Models that are compatible with the Locking Tuning Machines are: Ultra-Light*, Ultra-Light Electric*, Ultra-Light Lefty*, Pro-Series, Pro-Series Mod-X, Speedster Series, Speedster Hot Rod Series, EG-1 Series, EG-2 Series, and Travelcaster Deluxe guitars. Traveler Guitar Locking Tuning Machines are not designed to be used with Nylon Stringed or Bass guitars. These tuning machines can work on other guitars, but check the specifications to be sure. * Ultra-Light Model Guitars with a Serial Number containing an "S" are excluded.

these should come standard on the ultra-light electric. makes changing strings easier and it keeps things in tune much better.

I just love these tuners for 2 main reasons, first and most importantly, the guitar stays in tune no matter how hard I hit or bend them strings and secondary I'm no longer getting sting by the tip of the strings at the tuners since the locking mechanism keeps them safe. 😉🎸

A guitar will never stay in tune 100% of the time but with these you will get very close. I wish I had bought these sooner, it's like I have a whole new guitar! Thanks so much for a great product!

After putting these on, I saw a major improvement with the guitar staying in tune. I read some other reviews and I just want to add that when putting on the bottom three strings I locked them in the tuner loose and then wound them round and round using the tuners to get the strings coiled around multiple times to help hold them in place, something I wouldn't have to do on a "less sensitive" "normal" guitar. Also I made sure the odd rolling bridge piece was in a nice resting comfy place before tightening the strings to actual Tuning Pitch. These should come standard on the Traveler, especially since it is being taken out of the house presumably, it should be built to stay in tune, not go out of tune when someone coughs or whatever other minor thing you can think of.

I replaced the tuners on my Traveler Guitar Ultra Light Electric. I noticed pretty quickly that there was an improvement in tuning stability. It turns an ok guitar into one that was pretty usable as a sofa guitar.

Changing strings on a Traveler is a bit of a contortionist's job. Also, you wind the string in the opposite direction around the tuner post compared to a standard guitar which throws me off too. The task is dramatically easier with locking tuners.These are very easy to install as they are pin locked and held in by the screw in bushing (no small screws to fuss with).The casting is marked PW underneath which is Ping. Ping makes most of the private label tuners for the guitar industry these days in Taiwan and China, and have proven to be top quality in my usage.

Without locking tuners, changing strings was a hassle.Changing strings is easier with these locking tuners.Installing the tuners was easy.The tuners are not as high-quality as I've seen in other locking tuners, but they do the job.
