The Ether All-Mountain ski is the all mountain ski you've been looking for. Cruising through corduroys? Check. Wonder off into the trees? Check. Afternoon sesh in the park? Check. The versatility of the Ether begins with its Poplar wood core that eliminates unnecessary weight and provides the responsive stiffness preferred by skiers looking to slash their way down the mountain. A 92mm waist width and traditional camber underfoot produce powerful turn initiation when taking on everything from early morning hard packed to late day ice. The Ether's also come equipped with rockered tip and tail to create skis that are ready to smoothly surf soft tree lines, ensure control over the crud, and ease through the deeper days. Sturdy ABS sidewalls help to protect the core from damage as Austria-imported full steel edges offer long-lasting durability, as well as increasing agility. These all-terrain titans also come equipped with a speedy sintered base that is simple to maintain while adding a level of resiliency to these already domineering snow slayers. The Ether's are a mountain-conquering force to be reckoned with, that are ready and willing to take on whatever winter brings.

Great quality for the price! - 2 stars are for the Amazon fulfillment, they did not pack it super well and shipping was very delayed. They cleaned up nicely though.

Great ski however the core and top surface do not hold a binding screw as well as other skis. For that reason special care should be taken when mounting bindings. Epoxy in the screw holes and a careful quality mount or use threaded inserts. Then make sure screws remain tight and don't ski hard but rather ski smooth. Would get 5 star otherwise. Note: This ski should be value priced at $150 maximum.

These skis work well in soft snow and trees, they also hold an edge on packed snow. Very light and playful, The tops look a little cheapy but the edges and bases seem good quality. I don't think you can buy a better ski at this price. Lots of rocker but enough camber under foot to hold a reasonable edge.
Up vote if this helped you

Got these for $86. I have seen them as low as $75. They perform great, I ski'ed on them once thus far. No issues on piste. Mounted up some Tyrolia Attack2 11 bindings, and the combo is super lightweight. They are build to the standard of other name brand skis. Use glue on the screws, I had one blow out of the wood and I did not over torque. I removed 1 star because the graphics are not centered and about 20mm off. But every time I clipped in I think and feel sad for the communist slaves that made it, what are their lives like.

Let me preface this review with some information on my skiing background. I am a PSIA Level 1 Instructor and have been skiing for nearly 60 years. I have a quiver of 7 other pairs of skis and ski with the mantra "It is never crowded when you ski the Double Blacks". I had the skis mounted up with LOOK SPX 10 bindings; skis, bindings and mounting cost less than $200; much less than the typical $1,000+ I spend on skis.Other than waxing them I made no modifications to the skis. I took them out for the first day of the season (11/13/20) on Green & Blue groomed runs. It took 3 runs to get the feel of the skis. I was impressed with the skis performing low speed turns, even though the skis do not have a deep side cut they carved well. Skiing with a buddy who is a lifelong ski raced he commented that they looked like they carved well when I had the opportunity to let them run making some GS turns at speed. These are a great value for the beginner/intermediate skier who would ski 5 to 10 days per season. It will be interesting to see how these handle un-groomed slopes and powder as the season progresses.

Well...first off...my skiing days are over...but my Son and his wife and kids and the grand daughter and grand son all ski (it's a law in Colorado...you HAVE to! - fortunately they grandfathered out grandfathers) so the son and the grand son were thrilled to see these skis. When they got to the ski shop at the lodge to have the brackets installed the olympic skier who works there during the season (we have the Olympic Training Center here in Colorado Springs) thought they were Nordicas at first and asked if this was a new Nordica line (no offense Traverse). He really thought they were $1000 skis!!He said he had of course heard of Traverse, but didn't know that they were producing a product of this quality at a price range way below what he had to pay for this good a ski. He said the poplar center was the key and he bet they were really fast. Long story short he got with my grand son who's the same age and wanted to try them out himself when his shift ended at noon. And so they were off. When they got back home my grand son told me all about it and said that (I'm not naming him because I don't know if that causes problems for an Olympian or not and prefer to err on the side of discretion) his new friend (they've been skiing several times since) said that the skis were as fast as his Nordicas and 95% as good overall. He tried them on several terrains and said handling was tight and his control didn't slip away from him even once. My grand son on the other hand managed to hit a tree...While slowing at the end of his run..and only wound up sprawled on the ground with some bumps and bruises and without hurting the skis, thank heavens.I guess that between the two of them that that's a Five Star rating and certainly a great comparison for Traverse since their ski costs about $700 less and performs up to the higher standard.!

Like Most: The color and sporty featuresLike Least: They do not come with the brackets and also they are way too big for my son.

Lightweight. They feel like nothing on my feet in the ground or even when hitting jumps. We thankfully live near a ski mountain and my husband works at the local ski mountain and has free ski pass so needless to say we ski often. ;)Perfect size, shape, weight, everything. My husband brought these into the ski shop at the mountain to get the bindings put on and he had the bindings mounted slightly backwards off the center which apparently helped with balance. Apparently all the ski mountain shop workers were REALLY impressed with these skis. Were compared to the $800 Nordica skis. IDENTICAL in every single way except color. Yeah, these are an excellent deal worth it for sure!Fast, just right in every possible condition. Absolutely wonderful. Get yourself the just right skis and save some money with these babies. WOW! Fun, fast and super perfect, these are absolutely worth every single penny. Not to mention how impressed people who know about skis were, cannot tell you how many people have asked about these skis and where they came from. Expect sales of these skis to increase for sure!EPIC. Again, worth the money and are great skis for the price. Doubtful for being made in China but then again, they do make most of the high end products we use in the states, so they must know what they are doing and here is the perfect example. Great skis.
